Environmental impacts

• Air: small impact on air by emissions of the paint cabins (only used in the repair area) and the burners (heating).
• Water: use of water in a closed circuit for washing the cars + sewage of water coming from canteen and sanitary fittings.
• Soil: measures are taken to restrict the possible impacts to soil.
• Waste: all the packing waste is recycled; where possible other waste is collected separately to make recycling possible. Other fractions go to incineration with energy-recuperation.
• Transport: Honda Europe NV cooperates in the project of Honda Worldwide LCA – project, to calculate the environmental impact of her activities.
• Energy: Electricity, natural gas and gas oil are used for plant operation, heating and lighting the buildings.
