2004-2005 Environment Protection Activities Results
Honda Turkey makes efforts to contribute to environment protection by controlling the impacts
of production processes and other activities on the environment by setting targets to reduce the impacts and making
improvement activities.
- Energy: As a result of improvement activities,
HTR achieved 5,7m³/car reduction in gas, 12,5 m³/car reduction in water and
10,87 kwh/car reduction in Electricity consumption.
- Waste: Reduced amount of landfill waste to 2,41 kg/car from 3,49 kg/car,
as a result of improvement activities.
- VOC: Reduced VOC emission from 72,47 g/m² to 67,39g/m² as a result of PA Department activities.
- ISO 14001 of Suppliers: Honda Turkey has asked all of suppliers to achieve ISO 14001 Certification.
81% of suppliers have achieved certification by the end of 2005.
In order to check the impacts of processes and activities on water, air, noise and soil,
analysis of parameters requested by the relevant legislation are made periodically.
Honda Turkey complied with all legal requirements.
